Jake Siegel

Shortly after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jake Siegel began his career at Faust Distributing in 2008. Jake started out as a large format grocery merchandiser and soon worked his way up to become part of the off-premise space management team. As a part of the “space-man” team, he assisted in drawing up and implementing chain account planograms. Jake took a shine to the pricing side of chain accounts and soon assumed the pricing coordinator position at Faust and handled much of the pricing and new item authorizations for Faust Distributing’s key chain accounts.
 

While in the beginning stages of his career at Faust Distributing, Jake sought out to sample each and every beer in the vast portfolio. Over the years he made his way through the hundreds of beers that Faust carries. While doing so, he discovered a great appreciation for beer and the grand array of beer styles on the market. This led to Jake being promoted to his current position as Director of Craft Brands. 
 

As the Director of Craft Brands, Jake is responsible for managing the craft sales specialists, as well as handling all facets of supplier relations with the numerous craft breweries that Faust Distributing represents. Daily activities involve inventory management, sales team and retailer training, quality assurance, special events, new item set-ups, key account calls, etc. Jake ensures that the sales team and the key craft on and off premise accounts have the knowledge to discuss craft beers with consumers. Jake also works to grow the brands that are currently in house, and ensure that the category continues to thrive.
 

Jake is Cicerone Server Certified, has completed the MillerCoors Beer Merchant 101 class, completed Sam Academy I & II, and has served on the MillerCoors Millennial Distributor Council since its inception in 2013.
 

 In his free time, Jake enjoys traveling with his wife Tiffany and daughter Chloe, supporting UT athletics and Houston sports teams, biking, running, and visiting breweries.
