Jake Siegel

Shortly after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, Jake Siegel began his career at Faust Distributing in 2008. Jake started out as a large format grocery merchandiser and soon worked his way up to become part of the off-premise space management team. As a part of the “space-man” team, he assisted in drawing up and implementing chain account planograms. Jake took a shine to the pricing side of chain accounts and soon assumed the pricing coordinator position at Faust and handled much of the pricing and new item authorizations for Faust Distributing’s key chain accounts.
 

While in the beginning stages of his career at Faust Distributing, Jake sought out to sample each and every beer in the vast portfolio. Over the years he made his way through the hundreds of brands that Faust carries. While doing so, he discovered a great appreciation for beer and the grand array of beer styles on the market. This led to Jake being promoted to the Director of Craft Brands, where he worked hand in hand with many different Craft Breweries over the years to cultivate a strong portfolio of brands that consistently put Faust in the national spotlight as a top performer.
 

In the latter portion of 2022, Faust Distributing began acquiring the distribution rights for the Sazerac spirits portfolio, which immediately necessitated the construction of a full-service spirit department within the company. Jake was tapped to take the lead of this endeavor as the General Manager of Spirits, Craft, and Specialty. Since stepping in to this role, Jake has helped to develop an ever-expanding portfolio, which has put Faust Distributing in the conversation as not only one of the nation’s best beer distributorships, but one of the best spirits and all-around beverage operations in the country.
 

Jake is Cicerone Server Certified, has completed the MillerCoors Beer Merchant 101 class, completed Sam Academy I & II, served on the MillerCoors Millennial Distributor Council, serves on the Boston Beer Innovation Council, and is a founding member of the Spirits League.
 

In his free time, Jake enjoys traveling with his wife and two children, supporting UT athletics, Houston sports teams, biking, hiking, and visiting breweries/distilleries.
